The theatrical music action «The last day of eternal city» — it's a new piece by Ilya Demutsky. He created this music special for the Moscow Chamber Choir. The premiere will be showing in Zaradye Hall on 11nd November 2021.
Authors of the libretto - Olga Maslova & Katya Kapovich. They used the text of the ancient poets and graphical materials of that era for their pieces.
Director — Darya Borisova.
About composer:
Ilya Demutsky is well-known as a composer for Kirill Serebrenikov's works. He created music for dramatic works ("Who lives well in Russia"), two-act ballet "A Hero of Our Time" based on the novel by Mikhail Lermontov, music for the film «Schoolboy» by Serebrenikov etc.
