Moscow Chamber Choir will perform in Kostroma and Vologda

In December Moscow State Chamber Choir going to a two-day tour in which will give two concerts: in Kostroma and Vologda.
Performances of the famous collective, which will celebrate its 45th anniversary in April 2017, will be held with the support of the Moscow Department of Culture.
December 7th Choir will perform in the Concert Hall of the State Philharmonic of the Kostroma region. The concert will feature excerpts from the "Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom" by S. Rachmaninoff, "Great Doxology" by Apostol Nikolaev-Strumsky and "Pushkin's Garland" by Georgy Sviridov.
In the second part Minin's Choir will be perform Heitor Villa-Lobos' "Brazilian Bachiana number 9" for choir a cappella, "Northern Lights" by Eriks Eshenvalds, fragment from George Gershwin's opera "Porgy and Bess", "Primavera Portena" by Astor Piazzolla and several spirituals. At the end the Choir will perform the famous "Hallelujah" from George Frideric Handel's "Messiah" oratorio.
December 9th the team will travel to Vologda, which will perform in the concert hall of the local arts college with the same program. Look for updates on our website and social networks: Facebook and VKontakte.
