Moscow Chamber Choir will perform “Requiem” by Alfred Schnittke in Rachmaninov Hall of the Conservatory 8th November.
The composer started this opus in 1972 in the memory of his mother Maria Vogel. This music had an evolution way for the soundtrack to Don Carlos piece from Mossoviet theater to the self-sufficient opus. Requiem has a traditional latin text and music language modern music (include a large drum section, bass and electro guitars).
