Elena Ilyina

Elena Ilyina graduated from the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after Glinka. Moscow Chamber Choir's concertmaster since 1996, she has the highest qualification category.


As accompanist and ensemblist she participated in many significant collective's performances with leading Russian and foreign orchestras under direction of V. Gergiev, V. Fedoseyev, M. Pletnyov, V. Spivakov and S. Sondeckis. E. Ilyina performed G. Rossini's "Petite Messe Solennelle", J. Brahms' "Songs of Love" (duet with M. Arkadiev), S. Rakhmaninov's "Three Russian Songs" (duet with A. Gindin), G. Sviridov's "Three Old Songs of Kursk Province" (duet with M. Lida), C. Orff's cantata "Catulli Carmina" (in a quartet of pianists: A. Gindin, M. Leeds, E. Mechetin and E. Ilyin).


With Minin's Choir she toured in many cities of Russia and abroad: in Germany, Austria, Italy, England, South America, North Korea, China, Japan and other countries. In 2012 E. Ilyina was awarded by the Certificate of the Department of Culture of Moscow "for the achieved contribution to Moscow culture's development".
