Elena Knyazeva (mezzo-soprano)

E. Knyazeva graduated from Voronezh State Academy of Arts (class of piano) and Academy of Choral Arts named after Popov. She was soloist of the Voronezh State Opera and Ballet, where she had solo parts in G. Bizet's "Carmen" (Carmen), G. Verdi's "La Traviata" (Flora), G. Verdi's "Rigoletto" (Maddalena), G. Verdi's "Il Trovatore (Azucena), W. A. Mozart’s "The Marriage of Figaro" (Cherubino), P. I. Tchaikovsky's "Iolanta" (Marta and Laura), P. I. Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin" (Olga), P. I. Tchaikovsky's "The Queen of Spades" (Polina and the Countess), A. Dargomyzhsky's "Rusalka" (Princess), N. Rimsky-Korsakov's "Christmas Eve" (Solokha) etc.

Since 2012 E. Knyazeva works in the Moscow State Academic Chamber Choir. During this time she sang solos in various concert programs: The Duchess of Gerolstein rondo in J. Offenbach's opera bouffe "The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein", Old lady's tango in L. Bernstein's opera "Candide", "Bugs" by D. Kabalevsky, "Requiem" by W.A. Mozart, "Stabat Mater" by Rossini and other works.
