Minin's Choir goes to a mini-tour in honor of its 45th anniversary
In october Moscow State Academic Chamber Choir goesto a two-day tour with concerts in St. Petersburg and Tallinn.

Performances of the famous collective, which will celebrate its 45th anniversary in April 2017, will be held with the support of the Moscow Department of Culture.

October 8th Choir will perform in Mariinsky Theater (St. Petersburg) - one of the most famous and important theater of opera and ballet in Russia and over the world. The concert program will include excerpts from the "Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom" by S. Rachmaninov, in which composer boldly joined intonations of folk and professional art, creating a spectacular image of the ancient cult of singing; Gia Kancheli's beautiful "Amao Omi" ( "The war is meaningless") and famous "Adagio" by Samuel Barber, recognized by critics as one of the best music of the second millennium, arranged for choir a capella.

The next day, the Moscow Chamber Choir will travel to Tallinn, where will perform in the concert hall "Estonia" in the framework of the 21st International Festival of Orthodox Sacred Music "CREDO". Both concerts will take place in Estonian accompanied by saxophone quartet "Quattro Quarti" (Eve Neumann, Yandra Puusepp, Liis Myaevyalya and Ekha Themas).
