Alla Dubiler: Minin always hear something new - even in Rachmaninoff's music

Alla Arkadevna, there's a beautiful date approaching – it's the Minin's Choir 45th anniversary. How the Team is coming to this event?

- We started with the fact that we came with a concert to the Mariinsky Theatre and I hope that our 45th anniversary we will celebrated both in Moscow and in St. Petersburg. In this season Choir performs a program that can be called «The Best». And, of course, the repertoire includes works by composers who are obliged to Vladimir Minin for what became a chorus like that. Without a doubt, on the band's concerts can be heard works by G. Sviridov, and V. Gavrilin. But, as you have noticed, even in the music of Rachmaninoff Minin hear something new, consonant with today's time.

Before Moscow Chamber Choir, Vladimir Minin went quite a long and rich career...

- Yes, You're right: while He was working in the "Doina" chapel, Novosibirsk Conservatory, Chapel of Leningrad (which he calls "My Waterloo"), and other places, Minin wanted to create something of His own. And it turned out that in 42 years, when a person has to come to rest on the laurels, Vladimir Minin started a completely new life. From the aesthetics, that a cultivated and to which aspired.
