MININ'S CHOIR - FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SYKTYVKAR

On May 19th, 1915 in the Komi Republican Philharmonic Minin's Choir performed fragments from "Vespers" and "Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom" by S. Rakhmaninov, fragments from the concert for choir "Pushkin's garland" by G. Sviridov, Adagio for strings from Quartet No. 1 by S. Barber (arrangement by S. Anashkin for choir a'cappella), fragments from the choral Symphony-action "Chimes" by V. Gavrilin, songs by I. Frenkel and K. Molchanov, as well as Russian and Ukrainian folk songs.
Soloists: the honorary artist of Russia Bella Kabanova, the honorary figure of arts of Moscow Andrew Kryzhanovsky, honorary worker of culture of Moscow Evgenya Sorokina, Oleg Usenko, Irina Nikolskaya, Evgeny Kapustin, Julia Zolotaryeva, Sergei Godin, Svetlana Nikolaeva, Vitaly Serebryakov, Alexey Koltsov.
Conductor – Vladimir Minin
It was sold out! Applause and cries of "Bravo!", seemed to last endlessly! A wonderful, appreciative audience.
Before the concert, V. N. Minin arranged the open rehearsal.
On May 18th, Maestro Minin provided a master class in which participated the State song and dance ensemble of the Republic of Komi "Assya Kya". "Kursk songs" by G. Sviridov
